These <br />comments address building issues only, add'tional revisions or addidons may be required by other <br />departments (such as Util�ues, Plamm�g or Fire). All references refer to the 1994 Uniform <br />Buildmg Code, as amended by the State of \Vashington and/or Washington State Energy Code <br />1995 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processin of your application to continue, it will be necessary <br />to provide the Buiiding �iv�s�on w�th two complete new sets of drawings <br />retlecting the corrections requested. <br />2 1. Composition shingles shall have a minimum of type 15 felt lapped 2 inches horizontally <br />��� and 4 inches vertically to shed water. Per Section 1504 and T-15-E-1 UBC. <br />L� 2. Specify approved weatherproof materials at decks and balconies. Pressure treated wood <br />or cedar is acceptable. Prov�de flashings as required by Section 1508.1 (2317.12). <br />Z 3. Provide full height cross section through building showing: framing, interior/exterior <br />sheathing, plate heights, insulation, foundation, finished gnde etc. <br />4�.� f4, Wall covedngs sLdll be cement piaster, tile or approved equal ,u 70" (1773mm) above <br />the drain inlet. Materials other than structural elements used in such walls shall be of a <br />type thatis not adversely affected by moisture (807.1 UBC). See Section 2512 for other <br />limitations. <br />�� l 5.
