Indicate the minimum cfm of the system on the plans. <br />i <br />(� �For whole house exhaust by fan, specify the fan location(s), size(�, and sone rating �f 1.5 at <br />O.l" water gauge or less (for fans within four feet of the interior intake grille). <br />5. Specify that the integrated forced-air ventilation system has a 6" diameter outdoor air inlet duct <br />connecting a terminal element on the outside of the building to the retum plenum of the forced <br />air system including a damper. This system must be performance tested prior to final inspection <br />with the intake duct labeled with the installer, tester and the actual CFM's measured at intake. <br />6. Specify all duct work in heat recovery ventilation systems not less than 6" diameter, and <br />balancing dampers and flow measurement grids installed on the supply and retum. <br />��7� Outdoor air is required to be supplied to all habitable rooms for all whole house ventilation <br />`� systems. Specify the rype of outdoor air system including individual outdoor air inlets, forced- <br />air heating system, ducting or equivalent means. <br />Show outdoor air inlet type and locations on the plans with screened and secure opening not less <br />than four square inches. 302.6 <br />�j 9, Note on the plans that outdoor air inlets shall not be placed in the following locations: <br />a. closer than l0' from an appliance vent outlet, unless such vent outlet is 3' above the outdoor <br />air inlet. <br />/ b. Where it will pick up objectionable odors, fumes or flammable vapors. <br />1 c. A hazardous or unsanitary location. <br />� d. A room or space having any fuel-burning appliances. <br />
