Below are explanations of how we have met your requests. Each change or <br />addition is clouded on the plans so you can find them quickly and easily. The new sheets <br />h ive been left loose so that they maybe added in to the existing engineered sets of plans <br />per our ph me conversation Wednesday afternoon, 9-24-03. <br />1) All gravity calculations have been printed out and will accompany the revised set <br />of plans. <br />2) A connection detail has been added to the bottom part of page #3 and referred to <br />near where it occurs on the plan. <br />3) The recreation room has now been made smaller by dividing it with a wall and <br />making part of it a storage mom. The exterior door has been changed to a store <br />door to add additional light and ventilation into the room. This change is shown <br />on page #3. <br />4) The foundation plan (sheet #4) has been changed to show the rigid insulation <br />running all the way along the foundation wall trader the stair. This change <br />requires a furring wall under the landing, which is shown on pages 13 and #6 <br />(section page). <br />5) A note has been added to page #3 to have the ledger installed after the house is <br />sided. A vapor barrier will be installed under the siding, which will suffice for <br />separation netween the deck ledger and the house. <br />6) The furnace was moved to a central location in the attic (page #5). The hot water <br />tank was move to the wall between the garage and house and an additional tank <br />has been added for the hydronic heat for the basemcut level. A 6x 12-screened <br />opening has been shown in the back wall of the garage (page #3) for combustion <br />air. <br />7) Three notes have been added to page 43 to specify the length and pattern of the <br />lag bolts securing the deck ledgers to the house rim joist. <br />8) Notes were added on pages 01 and 43 to provide 36" minimum landings at the <br />bottom of all exterior stairs. <br />Please feel free to call Joseph or myself if you have any questions regarding the <br />changes and additions to this set of plans.
