September 12, 1983 <br />Resident <br />4121 Old Highway 99 <br />Marysville, WA 98270 <br />Dear Residents <br />The City of Everett has recently annexed the property known as 4121 Old <br />Highway 991nto its corporate city limits. <br />In order to Improve the response for emergency calls (FIre and Police) and other <br />services, we feel that it is necessary to change your address to Everett, rather <br />than have it remain Marysville. <br />In discussing this matter with the U.S. Post Office,I have learned that they must <br />have your consent in order to route your mail out of the Everett Post Office, <br />Instead of the Marysville office. <br />If you wish to receive a City of Everett mailing address, signify by signing in the <br />space provided and return this letter to us. We will then compile the signed <br />letters and forward them to the Post Office as a petition to have your address <br />changed to Everett.
