NELSON AND ASSOCIATES, INC.
"nsulting Engineering Geology
October 10, 1"0
Project No. 9490
rape S
Within this site, the steep slopes as defined appear to occur within the
northeasterly portion of the site. We specifically observed this area, and
parfonmad test pits downslops of the proposed residence area, to ascertain our
Opinion of the slopes with respect to stability. The environmental sensitive
elments discussed previously were evaluated with respect to the steep slopes.
Our opinion was and is that the area is relatively stable, and would be
isproved through "'t"Montation of the tecamgneations for development as
Presented in our geotec]nical evaluation report.
Additional Flaoemts
We understand that Some concern regarding existing. fill within the site has
been raised. Our eoiplorations encountered sono evidence of fill within the
site, but not within the sensitive or steep slope portions of the site. Our
previous 9ootechnical evaluation report discussed the areas of the fill, and
our recommendations for mitigation.
We trust the above information is of use, and thank you for the opportunity to
be of service.
