These conditions may be considered sufficient to declare the building to be substandard and/or dangerous. Some of the deficiencies noted are listed in this letter. Since the building is uninhabitable in its present condition, it shall remain vacant until such time as the building is repaired in accordance with the current Building Code or demolished. Your immediate attention is necessary to remedy these conditions. Please advise this office within ten (10) days of the action you plan to take to accomplish this. Some of the deficiencies noted during the inspection are listed below: 1. The mortar in the chimney is deteriorated and bricks are falling away from the chimney. 2. The roof is rotted in some areas as well as the wooden rain gutters and eaves. 3. There is a broken window on the north side of the building.
