Winde 2107 Rucker Avenue Everett, WA 98201 Re: 314 Olympic Boulevard Case number: 946H-98 Dear Mr. Winde and Mrs. Winde: On April 22. 1998 the Everett City Council passed a resolution regarding your property located at 314 Olympic Boulevard. Because the building on your property was substandard, dangerous and a public nuisance, and had neither been repaired nor demolished as required by the Notice and Order of the Building Official, the Council granted authority to the Building Official to have the building demolished and cleared from the premises. During the Council meeting I explained that we were working with you and had agreed to give you until August 1, 1998 to take action on your own to bring this property into compliance with the city's housing and dangerous building abatement codes. On July 22, 1998 permits were obtained for removal of the damaged house interior, interior remodel and upgrade, exterior repair to siding, and rewiring of the house. Inspections on the electrical rough -in and interior demolition were conducted on September 11, 1998 and January 11, 1999, respectively. On March 15, 1999 you were notified of additional nuisance conditions at the property, which included dead vegetation, wood, discarded window frames, windows and door frames, a discarded hot water tank, a discarded bathtub, a refrigerator, discarded doors, and construction debris. These nuisance conditions are violation; of the Everett Municipal Code and have not been corrected.
