If work is begun within that time period, the permit may be <br /> maintuned in an aaive status by requesting inspeaion at least once each 180 days to <br /> document progress. If work ceues for more than 180 days, the permit will expire; the <br /> Uniform Building Code stipulates that no permic shall be extended more than once.
