The surrounding pcoperties have the following land use <br /> and zoning designations: <br /> north: Multiple Family/R-4; south: S:ngle Family/R-4; <br /> east: Office/R-4; west: Single Family/R-4 <br /> 4 . The Applicant intends to use the st�uctu�e on the <br /> subject p�operty as a suppoct centec for victims of <br /> sexual assault. The space would be used foc counseling <br /> of sexual assault victims , pol:ce inteCviews. counseling <br /> purposes, and other related activities. It would be <br /> operated as part of the Providence Hospital complex. <br /> The centec would be staffed by a director and a <br /> volunr.eer . <br /> 5. In order for a Special Property Use Permit to be granted <br /> within the City of Everett, the criteria as set fo�th in <br /> Section 19 . 58 .010 of the Evecett Municipal Code must be <br /> met. More specifically, the critecia that must be met <br /> are : <br /> A. The use must be compatible with the uses of the <br /> snrcounding properties; <br /> B. The use must not create any adverse environmental <br /> impact; and <br /> C. There must be a showing of public need. <br /> 6. Many of the sucrounding pcoperties are directly or <br /> indirectly used for medical purposes . There is a clinic <br /> that is located directly east of the subject pcopecty <br /> and a hospital to the southeast of the subject pcopecty. <br /> 7. Adequate parking is available to allow for the � <br /> convecsion of the single family cesidence into the � <br /> support center. Ninety five percent of the time, � <br /> appcoximately only two or three cars will be parked on <br /> the facility. Ovecflow parking can be accommodated on <br /> the parking lot of the Applicant' s hospital which is <br /> within a block of the site. <br /> H � <br /> 8 .
