� � <br /> HOIISING CODE INSPECTION REPORT <br /> FROM: MARIAN DENT, CITY OF EVERETT, HOUSING INSPECTOR <br /> DATE: AUGUST 16, 1994 <br /> SUBJ: 1212 PACIFIC AVE. NI, EVERETT, WA <br /> At the request of the tenant an inspection of the electrical problems within the unit was <br /> conducted. The ins�action revealed bare electrical wires for ceiling light fiztures <br /> hanging from the ceiling. Ceiling fixtures are not secured in place, the wiring is old, <br /> deteriorated and hazardous. <br /> : Wires in one of the electrical scrvice boxes have been spliced together, with insulation <br /> missing from some of the wires, and the service box is readily accessible. These <br /> uonditions arc c�sidered dangerous. <br /> Also noted during the inspection was a bedroom window which is inoperable. Sleeping <br /> rooms below the fourth story shall have at least one operable window or ezterior door <br /> approved for emergency escape or rescue. The units shall be operable from the inside <br /> and provide a full clear opening without the use of separate tools. <br /> These conditions may be +:onsidered hazardous and/or dangerous to the heaith safety <br /> and welfare af the occupants pursuant to the requirements of Uniform Housing Code as <br /> adopted by the Ciry of Everett. <br /> � <br />
