Dickson , Mr. Graff, and Mr. . Champion <br /> were present. Mr. Ingram was absent. <br /> The reading of the minutes of the August 2 , 1971 werc dispensed <br /> with. <br /> • Hearing held on the application of Roy Thorsen, 3102 Rucker for <br /> a vari.ance fr.om Section 15. 09 . 260 E.C.C. (Zoning Ordinance) ; <br /> Special Sideyards and Protective Screening for permission to build <br /> to the South property line of Luts 1 through 6 , B1ocY. 739 , Ylat of Everett <br /> Division "H" (S.E. corner of Pacific and Grand) . Section 15 .04. 260 <br /> requires a 12 ' yard of setback between a residential zone and a <br /> business/commercial zone. <br /> Mr. Tho�sen stated that under the existing codes that have to be <br /> complied with that there will be a loss of approximately 4 ,000 <br /> square feet of valuable and necessary worY. area. Also relaxing <br /> the reyuired 12 ' setback from the South pr.operty line coill not <br /> create a hardship on the adjacent property as there is at the <br /> present an existing concrete wall approximatel�� 15 ' in heigltt• and <br /> the new wall would only be replacing an existing wall. <br /> Motion failed for. the lack of a second, and the hearing is to be <br /> continued until September 13 , 1971. <br /> Upon motion the meet9.ng adjourned at 8 : 35 p.m. August 11, 1971 . <br />
