All references refer to the <br /> 1994 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and /or Washington <br /> State Energy Code 1995 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In Order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be ueccssary to <br /> provide the Building division wiW two complete new sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> correctioas requested. <br /> 1. Due to the extent and nature of the following comments, an additional plan review <br /> response may be required atter receipt of corrected plans. <br /> ✓2. All of the apartment units except O & P have room arrangements that do not appear to <br /> meet the requirements for light and ventilation per Sec. 1203 and for those units below <br /> the fourth story, the requirements for emergency escape per Sec. 310.4. Specifically <br /> the bedroom areas shown with closets blocking light and ventilation. These areas <br /> could easily be equipped with doors that would isolate the areas for emergency escape. <br /> �3. The decks and roof/parapet overhangs on the south (ailey) side of the building may not <br /> project beyond a point 1/3 the distancc to the property line from an assumed vertical <br /> plane located where fire-resistive protection of o�,enings is first required (20 feet from <br /> center line of alley) or more than 12 inches into azeas where openings are prohibited (3 <br /> feet from property line).
