I didn't authorize the planting of the trees, I just happened to :�otice they were in the process of being planted. I therefore sent Don Wahl, Supervisor III, over to see who had authorized the tree planting. Mr. Brown from Radio 123 said he had a stack of prints (inches thick) that had been auth- orized by the City and he wasn't too happy with the Water Department and the Cit�- for stopping his Landscaping Contractor at this point. Mr. Wahl suggested I call Mr. ?3rown as he wasn't very happy. I called Mr. Drown and questioned him on the size and type of the trees. Iie said lie would check with his contractor and get back with me. I am only addressing this nroblem concerning the water line.
