The <br /> project proposes to construct two new duplexes, a total of fuur units, on the site. <br /> Findinga: <br /> The findings nnd conelusions of the 5taff Report dated June 9, 2006 (copy attached) are <br /> iiicorporated herein by reference. <br /> Aeeision; On June 14, 2006, the Historical Commission appruved the projxt as shown on the <br /> plans submitted to the Planning Department (cupies of which are atteched hereto) as consistent <br /> with the Neighborhood Conservation Guidelines and Historic Overlay Zone standards, subject <br /> to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Applicant must obtain necessary building permits from the City of Everett's Building <br /> Department. <br /> 2. A 6:12 roof pitcli is required and a deviation is �anted for a height increase on the back <br /> i <br /> duplex to accoznmodate this pitch. <br /> 2. Fencing on the north and south propercy lines must stop at least 5 feet short of the front <br /> � face of the west duplex. Wood fenc�ng is requued as proposed by the applicant. <br /> I3. Hardiplank siding must have a maximum of 5-112" exposure and continue sll the way <br /> to the ground. <br /> 4. A detail drawing of the porch railing should be provided. <br /> 5. Detsil drawings of the roof eaves, soffits and trim 9hould be provided. <br /> 6. Consideration should be given to providing only one sidewalk to be shared between the <br /> duplexes at 311 I and 3117 Norton to maximize the planting areas between the <br /> buildings. <br /> 7. The knee braces on the corner trim of the duplexes and dormers must be moved in <br /> townrd the windows to increase their visibility nnd a brace added between the porch <br /> � roof and Uie outside columns of each front porch on the west duplex. <br /> i � �IZ <br />
