SWPPP <br /> MINIMUM REQUIREMENT#2: CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER POLLUTION <br /> PREVENTION (SWPPP) <br /> 1: IUark Clearing Limits <br /> One of the first steps m the "Construction Sequence" included on the clearing and <br /> grading plan sheets is for a surveyor to stake the limits of clearing and to have <br /> construction flayginglfencing or silt fencing placed along the limits prior to any other <br /> construction activity. <br /> 2: Establish Construction Access <br /> The SWPPP calls for thP proposed construction entrance to be installed as the second <br /> step after the staking �f clearing limits. A detaii is �rovided on the plans. <br /> 3: Control Flow Rates <br /> This project will retain as much existing vegetalion as possible and lots will be re- <br /> vegetated after grading is complete. In addition, the detention pipe will be used as <br /> sediment trap during construction. Tharefore, the flow restrictors will be in place to <br /> regulate runoff during construction. This will protect the downstream system from higher <br /> ilows during construction. <br /> 4: Install Sediment Controls <br /> This site and SWPPP proposes to construct a constructian entrance and silt fencing to <br /> collect and contain the sediment on this site. In addition, inlet filtPrs will be installed in thP <br /> new catch basins on tlie site. These{eatures are intended to minimize the opportunity for <br /> sediment to le^�+e the site via stormwater or on vehicles The construction of ihese <br /> features is one of the first items required in the "Construction Sequence". M�Ich will also <br /> be used on the exposed soil as necessary to limit erosion. <br /> 5: Stabilize Soils <br /> The "Construction Sequence" and "TESC Notes" call `or the statilization of soils thai <br /> remain un�.�orked for certain lenqths of time based on the time of year. Stabilization <br /> techniques may include but not limited to mulr,hing, plastic sheeting or hydrosceding. <br /> notes have been added to the plan regarding pratection for ihe stock pile area if <br /> nec�ssary. <br /> 6: Protect Slopes <br /> All slopes on site duriny construciion are required to be prote�ied with mulc.h or other <br /> means as spec.ified i� the construction sequence <br /> 7: Protect Drain Inlets <br /> All new catch basins will have inlet filters installed to protect tne ccnveyance �ysiem <br /> 8: Stabiiize Channels and Outiets <br /> No new cl,annels or cutlets +o surface facilities are proposed for this pro�cct <br /> Glacier Propertirs 1 t-115 <br /> December2011 Page-15 <br />
