Dayha and the <br /> application which he had submitted on June 18, 1979 , for the <br /> asphalt area. As you will note, we went directly to tdr. Aayha <br /> to find out what his concern was and to determine the details of <br /> the situation so that we could see whether or not the City did <br /> in fact properly respond and/or lack understanding in its re- <br /> li <br /> sponse. <br /> I believe that upon reviewinq the facts that have been presented <br /> to me, that the staff of the City did operate in a proper manner <br /> I in attempting to enforce the ordinance of the City Council and <br /> ' yet provide the necessary understanding to assist the local <br /> hasinessman in solving his problem. I feel tiiat rather than <br /> having a very negative attitude towards existing companiea in <br /> �� the City, the developing of the Econo:nic Programs office, the <br /> � thoroughness with which we follow-up on inquiries like this and <br /> our general demeanor and attitude is a positive one towards <br /> � both present companies and new ones.
