'�hls report presents the <br /> results of our site review and engineering analyses. The purpose and scoqe ot our study <br /> was outlined in our June 12, 1996 proposal. <br /> Earth Consultants, Inc. (ECI) earlier prepared the referenced visual site reconnaissance for <br /> this slte as part of the Seaway �evelopment. We are presently providing Construction <br /> monitoring servlces for tho filling operation taking place at this site. <br /> The purpose of this studY Was to provide speciilc geotechnical recommendatlons for the <br /> proposed Frlto-Lay Distribution Facility. 7he site is part oF the Merrill Creek Development <br /> which is located In a former Uorrow pit, After completion of tho mining operation,the site <br /> was left about thirty (301 feet below the elevation of the adjacent roadways. The site Is <br /> currently being filied in order to reach a construction subgrade of about elevation 514. <br /> 7his will require the placement of thirty �30) to forty f401 feet of structural fill across the <br /> entire lot.
