The vertical and near vertical slopes on the east side of the property must be remediated <br /> consistent with the recommendadons contained in the Shannon& Wilson, Inc. report <br /> dated March 18, 1994, with the following clarifications and minor modifications: <br /> A. Actual remediation work may vary slighdy from the report in response to field <br /> information developed during the remed�auon. Major modifications resulting in <br /> damage to ezisting nat�ve vegetation uot anticipated in the repoR, or final slopes <br /> steeper than recommended by the report must be approved by the Planning <br /> Department. <br /> B. All disturbed areas must be revegetated within 60 days of completion of the <br /> slope remediation work with nadve ground cover, shrubs, and, where practical, <br /> trees. A revegetation �lan signed by a licensed Landscape Architect must be <br /> approved by the Plamm�g Department before slope remed�ation is begun. <br /> Among We objec6ves of the plan are that the vegetation must function to <br /> stabilize the slopes, improvement of the aesthetic appearance of the slopes, and <br /> provision of habitat suitable for native birds and animals. <br /> C. The licensed Landscape Architect must certify in writing that the proposed <br /> revegetation will survive in the soils, slope and hydrologic environment <br /> associated with each of the planting areas. Special attennon must be paid to <br /> those areas where the till material w�ll be recontoured to a slope steeper than <br /> 1.5:1 (horizontal to vertical). <br /> D. A licensed Iandscape Architect must certify in writing that all of the approved <br /> revegetation has been installed in accordance with the approved plan. <br /> z <br />
