In the design of the warehouse area loading docic. <br /> we utilized a code exception for a guard (guardraii) since ihe engines would be accessed via a <br /> crane that travels all around the warehouse area with tracks at each side o(the loading dock. The <br /> posts and safety chain in place around the loading doc�:can be removed as needed depending on <br /> where the engine rests on the truck and where the engine K•�II be placed when removed. <br /> The warehouse area will be a secure space with strict security. Any visitor to the space would be <br /> accompanied by a Rolis Royce employee. <br /> The code exception utilized is seclion 1012.1, exceplion #1. "Guards are not required in the <br /> (ollowing locations. 1.
