The plans and calculadons have
been revised ro incorporate the review comments wl,ich we received from your office. Please note that
we have attempted to safisfy the storm drainaoe commcris provided by Jane Zimmermann to tl:e best extent
possible while s6f1 providing a system which is pracUcal and feasible to construct.
As requested, we have redesigned the westerly system to provide an infilvation pond to match the
existing flow rates discharging into the powder mill basin. It was not physically possible to design a wet
pond for the easterly drainage system and therefore a grit removal system and bioswale was provided to
sadsfy the water quality treatrnent cequirements for this s;stem. Although this is not the most preferred
method, it is an acceptable alternative by the Ciry of Everen.
We are also requesting issuance of a clearing and grading permit to allow ihe contractor to begin
clearing and grading operations as soon as possible. Enclosed is a complewd clearing and grading permit
application.
Please proceed to complete your review as soon as possible and forward copies of the plans W Jane for
her review of the revised storm drainage system. Once ihe clearing and grading permit is ready to issue,
please contact me with the required permit fees. If you have any quesdons or need addi6onal information,
please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
i
Daniel K.
