The inlet and outlet structures to the wetpond need to be <br /> designed so that all atormflow is forced to travel tha full <br /> length of tha wetpond. <br /> The City inspectors request that the wetpond construction <br /> notes, from section 4-10.3 (2) of the City�s atandards, be <br /> provided in a c.>nspicuous place on both the storm drainage <br /> plans and the landscape plans. <br /> City standards require the following note regarding pond <br /> berm material� to be included on the plans: <br /> NOTE: Berm soils shall consist of material conforming <br /> to the following gradation: <br /> Sieve Size � Passing <br /> 3" 100 <br /> ,f4 65-90 <br /> �200 12-20 <br /> A trashrack is needed on the outlet of the wetpond to <br /> prevent floatable materials from enterinq the restrictor <br /> manhole. <br /> infiltration basin: <br /> he infiltration basin should be located a minimum of 50 <br /> feet from the top of any slopes greater than 25$ unless a <br /> licensed geotechnical consultant approves the design. City <br /> standards also require infiltration basins to be located at <br /> least 20 feet downslope and 100 feet upslope from any <br /> building foundations and/or property lines <br /> When an infiltration basin will be provided, the <br /> construction requirements from section 4-9.3 (1) and the <br /> � maintenance notes from section 4-9. 3 (2) need to be included <br /> on the plans. <br /> Flow control structure: <br /> Access to any flow control structure(s) is raquired as <br /> detailed in section 4-6.3 of the City's Design and <br /> Construction Standards and Specifications. <br /> The City's inspectors request that a detail of each fluw <br /> control structure be provided on the plans. <br />
