WASHINGTON <br />Embankment Problem <br />Alfies - Talked with man working at counter. He informed me that <br />the manager would not be in until after 5:00 P.M. I left <br />my card and requested that the manager call me Wednesday <br />regarding the embankment. <br />Suzuki - Talked with manager, and examined embankment with him. <br />He stated that Mr. George Fitzhugh, the man from whom <br />he leased, was going to do some improvement on the <br />embankment and also on the paving of the parking lot <br />where it has cracked due to settlement of the fill material. <br />I suggested that they remove the concrete slabs that are <br />exposed on the bank before they slide and possibly hurt <br />a child playing on or at the bottom of the bank. <br />Stopped at Fitzhugh Plumbing - Mr. Fitzhugh is out of the <br />state until Friday. I talked with Mr. Fitzhughs secretary. <br />Explained that the concrete slabs are a hazard and should <br />be moved to the bottom of the bank. She said they would <br />look at the situation Saturday and call this office <br />Monday. <br />
