Since� <br />however� some etructures may be located near the ateep elope are <br />we believe a building set-back lia�it should be es�ablished. <br />Based upon our observations and past expe:cisn.^.e. we believe a <br />building set-back of 2$ feet should be adequate to maintain a <br />atable building aite area within the oteep elope areas. In some of the moderate alope <br />areas, this may require atepped foundatione to adequately pene- <br />trate the natural denae soile. Should basementa be desired, <br />the upelope walls ehould be deaigned ae rataining walle, ueing <br />adequaLe drainage and equivalent f'luid preseuree of 40 pounde <br />per eubic foot (pef). <br />Adequate drainage ehould be provided around the structurea ` <br />conefating of foundation and roof drain eyatema independantly <br />directed into the main stor�.drainage syetem or approved outfall <br />area.
