It has recently come [o the City's
attention that roof and yard drainage from some of these lots is being
discharged near the top of the steep slopes. This practice can
exacerbate unscable s=ope conditions that may already exist. Slide
ac[ivity has already occurred along the rear o£ some of the yard areas.
To reduce the chance of further slide activiry, all roof and yard
drainage should be routed to the storm drain syseem in Narbeck Avenue.
I If any drains are taken co the rear of [he yatd areas, they should extend
to the bottom of the slope, all the way to the creek channel.
I
, ' The City and your neighbors would appreciate your prompt actention to
  this ma[ter.
Do not hesitate to contace us if additional clarification would be
helpful.
Sincerely,
Larry Crawford
Assistant Public Works Director
LC:cga1m1669,8
CITY OF EVERETT• 3200 Cedar Street • Everett, WA 98201 •(206) 259-8800 • Fax (206) 259-8882 'x
