The existinq slope of the cut face
appears to be approximately O.SH:7.OV. The cut was made along a
portion of the south property line. .
Construction of a five (5) foot high rockery had be4un on the east
end of the cut bank. At the time of our visit there was approxi-
mately thirty-five (35) feet of the rockery in place.
The materials exoosed in the cut bank were dense to very dense,
sand, silty sand, minor aravels, and minor clay of the tThidbey
formation. No groundwater seepaqe was noted in the face of the
cut. A small amount of fill was noted at the too of the cut bank
in one area.
In our opinion, the exposed soils are suitable for a 2H on 7V
slooe. The s1oPe should be protected aqainst erosion by plantings
and or another suitable metlioci.
