August 311 1987 <br />Public Works Depertment <br />The City of Everett <br />Everett, Wa. 98201 <br />Attention: Mr. Larry Crawford <br />n9$T' Larry: <br />Along the top or southerly line of Lot 8, Triada Granada, <br />we are very concerned that when the winter rains start falling <br />we are going to have one soggy mess on Lot Number 8, and would <br />like the problem adressed before this happens. <br />Several times over the past two years we have discussed <br />this problem with your office, regarding the surface water <br />coming down on us. <br />Now we notice that the developer of the lot above ua has <br />pushed an enormous amount of new iill right up to our <br />southerly lot line of lot nunber 8 with no retaining wall <br />to hold this bank in place. It ir�uld seem most logical <br />that if he planned to put in u retaining wall of some type, <br />he would have done this before moving all that dirt in up <br />to the edge of our lot. <br />Also, we do not feel it is our responsibility to put up <br />a retaining wall to hold his bank in place. or, should <br />we be required to place drain tile along the southerly <br />line of I�ot 8 to hold off the drai.nage from above. <br />We would appreciate hearing from the City of Everett, in <br />regard to the above matter.
