Ic has recently come to thc City's
atcention thac roof and yard drainage from some of hese lots is being
discharged neat the top of the steep slopes. This practice can
exacerbate unstable slope conditions that may already exist. Slide
activity has alrecdy occurred along the reat of some of the yard ateas.
To reduce the chance of further slide activity, all roof und yard
dratnage should be couted to the scor.n drain syscem in Narbeck Avenue.
If any drains are taken co the rear of thc yard areas, they should extend
co the bottom of the slope, all the way co the creek channel.
The City and your neighbors would appreciate you: prompt attention eo
this matter.
Do noc hesicate to conwct us if additional clarifica[ion would be
helprul.
Sincerely,
Larry Crawford
Assistanc Public 'dorks Dix=ctor
LC:eglalm169.11
CITY OF EVERETT• 3200 Cedar Street • Everett, WA 98201 •(206) 259-8800 • Fax (206) 259-8882 '
