Eleven of the piles wero battered at <br />approximately 15 degrees and one pile was driven vertically. T'he approzimate pile locations are s6own <br />on the attached site plan. The pin pile depths, �enetration during the last 20 seconds of driving, and <br />degree of batter are shown on the attached table. <br />The pin piles were driven with an 1,100 ft.lb hammer (Teledyne TB 425). Four-inch diameter steel pipe <br />secdons up to 21 feet long were used and coupled with slip couplers. The piles were driven undl a <br />refusal criteria of up to 1 inch of penetradon during 20 seconds of driving was attained. <br />Bmed on onr observations. it is our opinion that t6e twelve pin piles observed today have been installed <br />in aoco�d�oe with our recommendatioos, and should provide the planned 10 tons of support. <br />Attachments: Site Plan, Table <br />Distribution: <br />Signed: � <br />� <br />
