We observed the contractor install fiheen pin piles today. Eight of the <br />piles were battered at approzimately 15 degrees while seven were driven vertically. The approzimate <br />pile locations are shown on the attached site plan. The pin pile depths, penetration dtuing the last 20 <br />seconds of driving, and degree of batter are shown on the attached table. <br />:'he gin piles were driven with an 1,100 ft.lb hammer (Teledyne TB 425). Four-inch diameter steel pipe <br />sections �p to 21 fcet long wero used and coupled with slip couplers.
