r
Page 2 to Applicatiun for
Variance by M/Ms. Quarterman
The existing setbacks on this property limit the choices of
dwelling very severely that we coul.d build on this property.
Ths is due to the configuration and shape of lot 6. NJe are
therefore asking for a variance to permit building up to 5
from the rear property line.
1, Lot 6 is unusually narrow and the present setback for the
the rear property line of 2p would limit the possible width
of any structure to j . This would be unacceptable to us.
2. Lot '% already has obtained the variance that we are requesting.
3. The authorization of this variance to us is not detrimental
to the other property owners, but instead would improve the
symmetr,y of the whole cul-da-sac, as it would be more in line
with the existing buildings. The residence on lot 5 wowld
actually have an improved view, as our residence could be
back further and vould not block his view. The property
directly South of the rear property line (outside of Nasau
View Tract) presently has no view across lot 6 to the North,
all their view is toward the East. This variance therefore
will not aifect their view in any way.
4.
We feel that the granting of this variance would substantially
enhance the general appearance of Nasau VieN Tract, by permitting
us to build our residence in a more harmonious way.
  .
