Wit. <br />the amounts of deleterious materials present in the fill, some differential settlement may occur over time. <br />This settlement may be reflected in the long term performance any overlying improvement. It may be <br />prudent to place reinforcement in the driveway approach slab in front of the garage and possibly within <br />the driveway and any front walkways as well. <br />4.8 Pavement Section <br />The recommendations contained in the Geotechnical Report are valid with this addition — the <br />recommended thickness of ATB may be replaced with a minimum thickness of eight-(8) inches of <br />crushed surface top coarse (CSTC). If CSTC is utilized, it may be placed as part of the recommended <br />two-(2) feet of structural fill below site improvements as outlined in section 4.6 of this report. <br />We trust that this additional information will meet the requirements outlined in the City of Everetts letter <br />to you. The intent of this additional information is to amend and in some instances, replace the <br />recommendations contained in the original Geotechnical Report. This letter is not intended to stand <br />alone or to be used solely for this site.
