The following respond item for items to those listed in your letter: <br />1. We have added a building section as requested; please refer to Section 5 on <br />Sheet A-5. <br />2. We have noted existing first floor framing on the plan on Sheet A-1; please <br />note that there is no second floor above the master bedroom. Also refer to <br />the new building section 5 on sheet A-5 to see how loads are transferred to the <br />foundatio:l. <br />3. The new construction involved in the existing basement bedroom involves <br />closing up euisting fixed windows. To meet the requirements for escape and <br />rescue (the existing windows do not meet code) and for light and ventilation, <br />we propose to replace the existing bedroom windows on the north elevation <br />with two new casements. Please refer to the plan on sheet A-1, the revised <br />window schedule, and the elevation oii sheet A-3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />Please refer to the enclosed letter and calculations provided by John Barry of <br />Ratti Swenson Perbix, Inc. John is the engineer of record for this project. <br />We have added a note to the plan on Sheet A-2.
