WASHINGTON
I have requested the Snohomish County PUD not to energize the service
to this building until the hazardous wiring conditions have been
corrected and approved by the City Electrical Inspector. I made a
personal inspection of the buildinq and found someone had replaced
the original panel with one that had been modified and made up of
two or three different manufacturers components. This is a direct
violation of the UL Testing Lab listing. The range cable as well
as sone of t:he other cables had been spliced in an open nanner and
continued on with individual conductors. There were live exposed
wires several places in the basement. Throughout the basement
wiring there had been alterations made which were code violations
without the benefit of inspection. The service drop from the utility
pole was :aying in contact with the roof across most of the leng:h
of the bui_ding.
I considered what I saw to be a definate hazard both to bodily
injury and the possibility of a fire.
I will give a clearance for connection after these corrections
have been made.
. r
'::
i .N3
• y,d.
+':.
, #
7:
1 J
