The Intcrnational Building Code and the International <br />Residential Code provide that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the <br />pem�it is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. <br />[f you wish to prevent the permits from expiring without documentation of a�mpletion, you may: <br />1) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the ���ork that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request fur a 180 day extension, detailing justifiable cause for <br />extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days.
