City of Everett 3200 Cedar Street Everett, WA 98201 �_- : We are in the process of preparing to clear� up our property at 1722 Mukilteo Blvd. In the back lot behind our whitd stucco house, we are getting bids from excavating contractors to clean up and despose of a large black berry brush area that contains a collapsed wooden shed and some misc. concrete chunks and brush. See the enclosed photographs. There is a 20 foot wide City of Everett alley behind our back lot that has been covered with blackberry bushes for over forty years. Our collapsed wooden shed is in the blackberry bushes just north of the alley. The east end of the alley has been used by property owners on both sides of the alley for over forty years, but the west end of the alley, behind our property and near pover Street, has been covered by blackberry bushes for forty years. Enclosed are some photographs I took of the alley from both side streets, Greely Street and Dover (formerly Jackson Street) Street. I spoke to you last week about how I planned on having my excavating contractor clear the blackberries from the Ciry-owned alley while they were cleaning up my lot and you advised me to not have the contractor cle�r the City-owned alley. You said that the City should clear the alley.
