NARRATIVE STATEMENT: <br />The variance being requested will be to allov a garage addition <br />onto an exisiting garage. The combined square footage Will <br />exceed the a-llowable 1000 sP. feet specified in the zoning code. <br />The code states that an accessory building ahether attached or <br />detached, shall not be lar8er than 15% oE the total lot area or <br />1000 Sq. feet. <br />(a) The addition will not be materislly detrimental to the <br />property in the area. It is only visable by three resid- <br />ences, otherwise sheltered by trees. It w111 in no way <br />block or impair the view of the surroundin8 proPerties. The <br />existine structure and purposed addition are of conveneional <br />vood Eramed eonstruetion. The exterior finish vill match <br />the existing residence• <br />�b) The variance is necessary beeause of the zoning code that <br />limits the square footage of accessor� buildings to no <br />greater than 1000 sQ. Eeet. The existing structure is 14U0 <br />yq, feet. The purposed addition is 553 sq. faet, making the <br />total square footage of the structure 1953 sq. feet. <br />(�) The Lot sizes in thoE this sizenwould�notabe detrimental to <br />accessory building <br />these propertiee. <br />�f) The need for the requested variance is to allaw the P�rposed <br />addition to an existing Sarag�• The intent for the addition <br />is to store a large recreational vehicle.
