The <br />Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by <br />�he permit is suspended or abandoned at any dme after work is commenced for a period of 180 <br />days. If you wish to prevent ''-^ permits from expiring without documentation of completion, <br />you may: <br />1) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspecdons of the work that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please provide the permit number when requesting inspecrions or extensions. Please respond <br />within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Department for microfilming <br />without final approval.
