<br />Department viewed our praperty and made the folloving
<br />recommendations:
<br />Begin a Progressive Forestzy Frogram: cu[ting old [rees, especially
<br />those shoving decadence, leave young [cees and plant nev trees - both
<br />evergreen and deciduous.
<br />Steep Slopes - plant evergreens and a].ders - remove old decadent [rees,
<br />plan[ grass and ivy to secute soil especially clay bank, eas[ side mid-

<br />Less stcep slopes - gtass and evergreet�s.
<br />Ravine floor - 10 feet each side of s[i�eam - plant villows, dogvoods,
<br />salmon berries and leave good selection of young trees.

<br />vieved our logging operation, marked [he decadent trees,
<br />and made these observations.
<br />1. Some, but not all, of the [rees on Olympic are showing signs of decadence
<br />and should be removed.
<br />2. Plantin6 na[ive grass, evergreens, and bushes on [he area eas[ of the
<br />stream which has been logged will provide sufficient securing of the
<br />soil in that area. �
