CITY OP LVERETT - BOARD OF ADJUSTI�7EIvT <br />ORDER <br />WH�REAS, theretofore,there was filed with the City of <br />Everett Planning Department on November 18, 1974 an application <br />for a variance of Section No. 120 uf Everett City Coed No. 15.09 <br />by Southland Coraoration, dba, 7-11 Food Stores. <br />Address: 10415 Beardslee Blvd., Bothell, �4ashington <br />for: permission to install two (2) signs. One (1) pole sign not to <br />exceed 40 square feet in area and one (1) facia sign not to <br />eaceed 48 square feet in area. Maximum allowable area under. <br />the existing Zoning Code is thirty (30) square feet in area. <br />on the following described property: <br />Lot 83 & 84, Forest Park Addition to Everett, Division "A" <br />Address: 230 Mukilteo Blvd. (SE Corner Diukilteo Blvd. and <br />Dogwood) <br />AND: WHEREAS, December 2, 1979 was fixed as the date of <br />hearing on said application and proper notice havinq been given <br />as required by law, <br />AND: WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said date and the <br />Board of Adjustment, after reviewing all testimony, made the findings <br />that: <br />1. There are exceptional circumstances that apply to the <br />subject property in as much as the northwest and southcaest <br />corners of the intersection are zoned B-2, which would <br />allow the signing proposed. <br />2. Granting the variance �vill not be injurious to other <br />properties in the same area. <br />3. The variance is necessary for the preservation of a <br />substantial property right because the building is not <br />totally visible from the street approaches and must have <br />sufficient signing for identification. <br />4.
