The cnlor <br />exhibited by the soils from 12 to 17 in�:hes was lOYR 4/3 with <br />108 mottles shcwing a rolor of lOYR 5/6. The soil was <br />sandy loam in texture at 17 inches and beyond. The soils v:cre <br />moist through 18 inches. This soil is similar to the <br />Alderwood series soil type as mapped for this location in the <br />Soil Surv�y of Snohomish County. Site 1 was covered 100$ by <br />this plant. This is a Facultative Upland species. At the edge of <br />the vegetation change bet�.een grass and blackberries. <br />�� <br />The soils we;:e consistent with the description of Aldenvood <br />soils. The texture was gravelly loam throughout. The color <br />through the top 10 inches was lOYR 3/2. At 10 inches the <br />colored showed lOYR 4/6 and from 10 through 17 inches, lOYR <br />5/3 There were no mottles present in any sample.
