July 24, 1969
Mr. Robert Stasny
27ol N.E. 85th
Seattleg Washington. 98115
S ject: Pexisting
convenienceng Of astore atrking cr 3711fticilteo Boulevard
Dear Mr. Stasny:
The Public korks Departnent has reviewed your application Mork and
finds that permit approval shall be based on the following conditions:
1. The new paving shall he sloped in such a way as to drain to the existing
catch basin in the parking area.
2. his new pavinThe g ng one sin front triping is fie store shall be aCandoned at
the tilw. t
ed
the
cityi
iTraffic Deprartment after an on site analysisn of the two is based on the flowinotraffic vflow rin and
out of the parking spaces in auesticn.
The current situation of parking in front of try rr.arket and backing out
into the Boulevard to exit is hazardous. This condition will get worse as
the Boulevard traffic increases. In addition we can foresee that the
increased difficulty of ingress and egress will actually begin to have an
adverse affect cn their business.
The additional paved parking with driveway cuts is an excellent idea, both
for the customers and for traffic safety. Fjoweverg the parking that now
exists in front of the Wilding should be removeC for the above rentioned
reasons.
