We have provided <br /> geotechnical construction observation services for the entire project but only the construction <br /> observations completed for Duilding Nos. 10 and 12 through I S located within Pod 2 are presented in this <br /> letter. We previously provided four summary Ietters,the first dated July 12,2006 for Building Nos.2 and <br /> 19, the second dated July 21, 2006 for buildings 3 and 4, the third dated August 30, 2006 for Building <br /> Nos. l, 5 and 6 and the fourth dated October 26, 2006 for Building Nos 7, S, 9 and 1 I. We will provide <br /> separate letters that will summarize our construction observations completed for the other buildins.s and <br /> areas of the project. <br /> The geotechnical aspects azsociated with conswction of Building Nos. 10 and 12 through 15 included <br /> soil beazing�erification and structural fill material characteristics,placement and compaction verification. <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Based on our observations, it is our opinion that the construction activities at Building Nos. 10, 12 <br /> through 15 observed by GcoEngincers were completed in general accordance with our recommendations, <br /> and the project plans and specifications. <br /> OBSERVATIONS <br /> We visited the site on a full time basis on 7 occasions behveen July 19, and July 28, 2005 (rcfer to field <br /> rcport Nos. 24 through 31) during thc mass grading period and completed I site visit on August 3, 2006 <br /> (refer to field report No. 35) to evaluate compaction of the fill placed within the Pod 2 aresf where <br /> Building No. 10 and 15 are located. Duilding Nos. 12 through 14 are located in a cut area within Pod 2. <br /> We completed intermittent site visits on 12 occasions behveen September 6, 2005 and May 10, 2006 <br /> (refer to field report Nos. 57, 58, 67, 76, 112, 1 I4, I I5, 125, 126, 136, 139 and 140) to evaluate the <br /> footing subgrade soils within Building Nos. 10 and 12 through 15. Qackfill placed to support the upper <br /> ticr of building slab was a��aluated on 13 occa,aions between November I8, 2005 and April 27,2006(refer <br /> ro field report Nos. 93 through 97, 10I, 102, I27, 129, 130, 132, 133, and 137).
