This complaintant staL-ed <br /> that there were sub-standard living conditions existing at the four uniC apart- <br /> mene at 2808 - 2810 Pfaple Street. <br /> On July 5 an exterior inspection of tl�e Uuilding was made. This inspection <br /> revealed thaC the structure was badly deteriorated and out of p1umU. <br /> An appointment was made saitli the owner, Mr. M. Dujardin to inspecC Che interior <br /> of tiie Uui.lding on July 27, 1973. <br /> During this interior inspection we noL-iced several serious violations of thc <br /> }lousing Codc. <br /> On August 3, 1973 the property was inspected Uy L-he Blectrical Inspector and thc <br /> Plumbing Inspector. <br /> The follocaing violations were documented: <br /> Plumbing; <br /> Unit �kl No trap, vent, or watcr to kiCclien sink. <br /> iJater heater not accessible. <br />� Spray hose on tub (cross connection) tub overflow noc <br /> conneceed. <br /> "S" l-rap on lavatory. <br /> Gas heater vent loose allows lcakage. <br /> Kitchen sink appears to drain to drum trap imder liouse. <br /> RuUber hoses on drain lines. <br /> Waler lioses used for. waCer piping, <br /> Unit ;k4 Rear - Lavatory not vented, hose on sliower (cross connection) . <br /> RubUer hose on kil-chen sink supply, no venL•s on bal-h. <br /> RuUUer hose on kitchen sinlc coaste (oulside) . <br />' Waste stack (outside) has improvised connections and fil-L-ings. <br /> Un't 4k3 KiLchen sink not vented (only plumUing in unit) . <br /> Upper ISath LavaL•ory not vented, sliocoer noC vented. <br /> Electrical: <br /> AL1 Units OutleCs not wired to code. <br /> One 70 amp service panel serviug nll four (4) uniCs. <br /> Electrical panel not accessiUle to all tenants. <br /> Fusrs uversized. <br /> Unit �l4 PortaUle electric lieat-er only sourcc of heat in unit. <br /> Upstairs Bath Zip cord on light fixture. <br /> Illegal splicing of eleclrical wiring under liouse. <br />\ <br />
