Please see <br />the enclosed inspection activity reports. The International Building Code and the International <br />Residential Code provide that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the <br />permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. <br />If you wish to prevent the permits from expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension, detailing justifiable cause for <br />extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the Tile will be sent to our Records Department <br />for microfilming without final approval.
