b. Conclusion•
a property
zone
Criterion No. 3:
Granting this variance would allow the owner
right enjoyed by others in the vicinity and
That the authorization of such variance will not be materially
detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to property in the
vicinity or zone in which the property is located.
a. Finding: The property is located right on the bluff in
an area of view homes; however, it does not appear that
there would be any view blockage by the proposed
construction. Any possibility of a view from homes to
the south appears to be already blocked by structures or
trees.
b. Conclusion: Granting this variance should not be
materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious
to other property in the vicinity.
That the granting of such variance will not adversely affect the
Comprehensive General Plan.
a. Finding: The Comprehensive Plan designation is single
family residential.
b. Conclusion: Granting this variance would not adversely
affect the comprehensive plan since the use is single
family residential.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Adjustment of the City of Everett
does hereby order that the variance as requested by the applicant
be GRANTED and further require the applicant to meet the following
conditions.
1. The addition shall be constructed as shown on the site plan
and per the elevations submitted with the application for
this variance.
The action of the Board of Adjustment in GRANTING a variance
shall be final and conclusive, unless within fifteen (15) days
from the date of issuance and signing of this order by the
Chairman of the Board, an aggrieved person or persons obtains a
writ of certiorari from the Superior Court of Washington for
Snohomish County for the purpose of review of the action taken.
DATED this 'ff d y of ii[/ndsf _, 1988.
Chairman, Board of Adjustment
Notes to Applicant:
I. If a building permit is not obtained within one year from the
above date, the Board's decision shall cease to be effective.
Prior to the expiration date, a written request for a
six-month extension may be submitted to the Planning
Director.
2 A copy of this order must be submitted by the Applicant when
applying for building permits.
-2-
