According to city records, the building has not been <br />permitted for conversion into a dwelling. <br />An exterior inspection of the garage was conducted on October 8, 1999, and it appears <br />that the building is currently occupied for habitable purposes. If the garage is currently <br />occupied for living, it must be vacated immediately and remain vacated until such time <br />as authorization for the conversion has been granted from the Planning Department, <br />building permits for the conversion are obtained from the Building Inspection Division, <br />and subsequent inspections performed to assure compliance. <br />Please contact this office within ten (10) days of your receipt of this letter with a plan of <br />action to accomplish this.
