Uer
Dec+r Mr. Berg:
During an inspection of' work done by kocgers Lleciric 3{ North
Junior. High a remrk was rrde about a blovm fuse on a main
'disconnect. I was told rtaintenance took care of it so I contacied
Bill Bressler requested » load reading beczuse ihe wire seemed
to be operating too warm. He found a load of 33 amps on a 500
MC11 wire. The maximum amperagellowed unc!er the condition this
conductor ie used would be 30A amps.
Roders Electric advised u that this wsjs not part of their
contrct and ws • maiter for school rrvaintenence.
Mo{her 50U t,1Cld wire will have to be parellelied with tha existing
wire to provide ample carrying r,apacity. This change coulri be
made durin a vacation or weekend so that school operation would
not be disrupted.
hope you will give this matter your iremedite attention as the
wire is now over-fused.
LJL:rm
Yours iruly
L, J.
