WA614IncroN <br />2914 bcDougall 00201 <br />Everett, Washington 96201 INSPECT[DEPARTMENT <br />Reference: Addition to Existing Building Final Inspection <br />Dear Mr. Knchr: <br />Please refer to our letter dated August 12, 1975, in regards to <br />the occupancy, and completion of work, of the above referenced <br />building. <br />Upon your receipt of the above letter we were assured by you <br />by telephone conversation that you would comply with it and <br />proceed to correct the west exterior wall columns, and to install <br />the automatic fire extinguishing system. However, since the date <br />of the aforementioned letter and telephone conversation we have <br />not received plans of the extinguishing system for review and <br />approval or a request to inspect the building for code compliance. <br />It has also been noticed that automobiles are being parked under <br />the added building. If this area is to be used as a parking <br />garage then the columns supporting the floor above must be <br />protected for fire resistance as set forth in Section 503. <br />As sufficient time has elapsed for this building to be completed <br />and these violations cannot be allowed to continue uncorrected, <br />you are hereby notified to commence, within ten (10) days, to <br />install the automatic fire extinguishing system and protect the <br />columns as set forth herein. If complaince is not forth coming <br />within the stipu..ted time it will be necessary to request the <br />City Attorney to initiate a complaint against you. <br />lie trust your complaince will make such action unnecessary. <br />Yours truly <br />Jamie G.
