MAR 2 51998 .......... <br />Ego neeri 0 Pub cERryMas... <br />IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />SNOHOMISH COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPT. <br />FOR APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL PROPERTY <br />USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A "MODERATE <br />RISK WASTE FACILITY" SPU #7-97 <br />DECISION: The requested Special Property Use Permit Is granted <br />subject to conditions listed. <br />11510811111011191kil <br />The Snohomish County Public Works Solid Waste Division, 2930 Wetmore <br />Avenue, Suite 500, Everett, Washington (Applicant) requested approval of a <br />Special Property Use Permit for the operation of a Moderate Risk Waste Facility <br />on property at 3402 McDougall Avenue, Everett, Washington (subject property). <br />The Moderate Risk Waste Facility will be used for activities including collection, <br />recycle, reuse, consolidation, packaging, storage and shipping of moderate risk <br />wastes that are generated by households and will also provide a place for <br />collection and recycling of small quantity generators. A portion of the site will <br />also be used by the Snohomish County Public Works Department as a vehicle <br />maintenance facility. The use of the vehicle maintenance facility is a non- <br />conforming use and is not reviewed as part of this request for a Special <br />Property Use Permit. <br />A hearing on the request was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of <br />Everett on March 5, 1998.
