WIDE <br />DRIVEWAY FOR ENTRANCE TO TH� PROPOSED NE{9 <br />WAREHOUSE ADDITION AT 2�02 36TA STREET <br />EXPLANATION <br />D7r. T. Clyde Pitcher, Jr. of Clark Distributing Company, <br />Inc., 2202 36th Street has submitted a proposal to con- <br />struct a new addition to their warehouse. The plans <br />include a 95-foot wide asphalt driveway off McDougal <br />Avenue. In accordance w�th the City Code Chapter 13.36, <br />Section 13.36.11C, drivewsys exceeding 35 feet require <br />a variance approved by the City Council. <br />Tlie variance is requested because of the security require- <br />ments peculiar to this type of distributing plant, and <br />under the present usage, the street would not be im- <br />paired. A variance is also required to eliminate the <br />installation of curbs at the site. D1r.
